Apple Developer Account:
Apple Requires that each business has their own Apple Developer Account. In order to do this, you must have a D-U-N-S® number. A D-U-N-S® number is used to identify your business, similar to that of a person’s social security number.
Check to see if your company already has a D-U-N-S® number using one of the links below.
- USA: https://www.dnb.com/duns-number/lookup.html
- Non-USA: https://www.dnb.com/choose-your-country.html
- Depending on which site you are directed to, you'll need to navigate the page to find the Dun and Bradstreet section (usually under "For Businesses"). Let your project manager know if you are stuck at any point in the process.
If your company does not have a D-U-N-S® number, apply for one this week to get the process started—the application can take ~2-3 weeks to process.
Be sure to obtain a D-U-N-S® number as an LLC/LTD/Corporation; do not apply as a sole-proprietorship.
Have a question for Dun & Bradstreet? You can contact them via phone, chat, or contact form by going to: https://www.dnb.com/contact-us.html
Note: in order to set up a business account with Apple, you must have an email that is associated with your business. Example john.smith@johnsauction.com will work, but johnsmith@gmail.com or johnsmith@yahoo.com are not acceptable emails for a business account.
How to Create an Apple Developer Account:
When creating your account, be sure to apply as an organization, not as an individual, and have your D-U-N-S® number ready.
- Click here to create your iOS Developer account. (Safari, Chrome, or Firefox are suggested browsers - then click on "Start Your Enrollment" at the bottom of the page)
Apple will prompt you for the D-U-N-S® number when you go to create the Apple Developer account as an organization. Auction Mobility does not need access to your D-U-N-S® number.
Once you have created your Apple Developer account as an organization and paid the annual fee, you will need to allow admin access to appleid02@auctionmobility.com:
Click here to log in to your App Store Connect account.
- Click on "Users and Access"
- Click on the + button to add a user and you’ll get a pop-up. Add the following contact information.
- Name: Doug Brenhouse
- Email: appleid02@auctionmobility.com
- Under Roles select Admin, make sure “Access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles” is checked. Click on Invite.
- An invitation email will go to Auction Mobility. Once we accept the invitation, we will be able to post your mobile app on your behalf.
