Email & Push Notifications to a Customer

Email Notifications:

There are several emails sent to a customer of the auction house from the Auction Mobility system. All other communication is left up to the client of ours, as we believe it's important that you are the gateway directly to your clientele.

The following email communications are sent to clients.

  • Registration Pending
    (Example below)

    Hello "Name of Registrant"
    Your registration for the "NAME OF AUCTION" auction is currently under review.
    You will receive an email confirmation of your approval status once complete.
    Again, thank you for your participation in our auction. If you should need further
    assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
    Sincerely,
    "Auction House Name"

  • Registration approval
    (Example below)

    Hello "Name of Registrant"
    Your registration for the "NAME OF AUCTION" auction has been accepted.

  • Registration denial
    (Example below)

    Hello "Name of Registrant"
    Unfortunately, Your registration for the "NAME OF AUCTION" auction has been
    rejected.

  • An Outbid notification.
    • Note that for a timed sale, the outbid notification will not send if the bidder is immediately outbid due to a higher max bid existing in the system, or if the house is bidding against that bidder until the reserve. In this case, the bidder will instantly see that they are outbid on whatever device they are using through a push notification or an email.
  • Password Reset

 

Push Notifications:

A push notification is a message that pops up on a mobile device. App publishers can send them at any time; users don't have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them.

Current Push Notifications enabled are:

  • Registration approval
  • Registration denial
  • Watched lot for a live sale is about to hit the block
    • Notifications are sent 5 lots before the lot comes up on the auction block, can be customized if that duration is not acceptable. Work with your project manager to adjust.
  • Outbid notification for timed sales

All other communications are from the Auction Mobility client.
